So there was this thing between Coke and Dr Pepper where Coke distributed Dr Pepper even though Dr Pepper is owned by a different company. But now that thing is no longer a thing, so Coke no longer has to distribute Dr Pepper and it can offer its Mr. Pibb to everyone everywhere. Or something like that. Anyhoo, this version of Mr. Pibb has been reformulated, has more caffeine than previous versions, and there’s a Zero Sugar variety. If you’re out shopping and see new products, snap a picture of them, and send them in via an email ([email protected]) with where you found them and “Spotted” in the subject line. Also, if you want to send in photos and are wondering if we’ve already covered something or if they’re new, don’t worry about it. Let us worry about it.

I’m not a soda drinker, but I loved Mr. Pibb as a kid. I might have to find this and see if it tastes the same as I remember.
Gonna have to try this. And, holy moly, it’s already sold out on Amazon, and people are charging $30 for 12 packs of Pibb Xtra
That’s not bad compared to how much people were selling spicy skittles gummies for on eBay. $100 A BAG!!!!! OUTRAGEOUS!!!! I bought mine for less than $6 and still felt massively ripped off.
I also wanted to add that here in California, ,Pibb Xtra was widely available, as Dr Pepper has been distributed by Pepsi (instead of Coke) for decades.
I live in San Diego and barely saw Pibb Xtra
Only in certain markets. Here coke still distributes dp. Waynesville mo
Sad to say it isn’t the original Mr. PIbb. Pibb Xtra now calling itself Mr. Pibb. It is disappointing that they changed the name back but not the formula. I didn’t get my hopes up too high because the packaging only says “new look”. Reverting the name back is a name change and not just new packaging. I’m annoyed all around.
