20-ounces bottles. 12-ounce cans. Zero sugar. Mini cans. Pick your desired way to enjoy this soda. (Spotted by Rachel J at Safeway, Robert S at Kroger, and Robbie at H-E-B.)
If you’re out shopping and see new products, snap a picture of them, and send them in via an email ([email protected]) with where you found them and “Spotted” in the subject line. Also, if you want to send in photos and are wondering if we’ve already covered something or if they’re new, don’t worry about it. Let us worry about it.

Don’t be fooled by the A&W logo–I assumed it would be root beer float flavored (I didn’t look closely) but this is of a more vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup or even a cookies-and-creme affair.
A little jarring at first, as it’s not a flavor I expect from soda, but after a few sips it grew on me. Thankfully they held back on making it too sweet, so while it’s definitely a novelty flavor, it kinda works. I don’t think I’ll stock up, but I also don’t regret getting a 12 pack.
If you pour it over ice cream (vanilla or a nice cheesecake ice cream) it is even better. And yes – it is a cream soda, not a root beer, for those wondering if you want to try it.
I found it at Fred Meyer/Kroger for those looking for it.
Took you liong enough to post this.
It was release last month but I bought a 12 pack in late july.
