NEWS: Kellogg’s Uses Adjectives Usually Used To Describe Stuffed Animals To Describe Their New Waffles

Updated: Read our Eggo Thick & Fluffy Waffles review here

I don’t know if Kellogg’s is trying to create frozen Belgian-like waffles with their new Thick & Fluffy Waffles without having to call them Belgian waffles. But I do hope they have larger pockets than regular Eggo waffles, because I loves me some syrup and would love to have large reservoirs of syrup in my waffles. The more syrup, the more sugar I get, and the more sugar I get, the more functional I am throughout the first hour of my day before I have a sugar crash.

An Eggo Original Thick & Fluffy Waffle contains 160 calories, 7 grams of fat, 2 grams of saturated fat, 3.5 grams of polyunsaturated fat, 1.5 grams of monounsaturated fat, 300 milligrams of sodium, 20 grams of carbohydrates, 3 grams of sugar and 4 grams of protein.

An Eggo Cinnamon & Brown Sugar Thick & Fluffy Waffle contains 170 calories, 7 grams of fat, 2 grams of saturated fat, 3 grams of polyunsaturated fat, 1.5 grams of monounsaturated fat, 270 milligrams of sodium, 25 grams of carbohydrates, 9 grams of sugar and 3 grams of protein.

Like most Kellogg’s products, the Eggo Thick & Fluffly waffles are fortified with vitamins and minerals. The new variety of round waffles will come in boxes of six.

NEWS: Trident Vitality Gum Has Added Benefits and Flavor Names My Computer’s Spell Check Doesn’t Think Are Words

Chewing gum bin in Anfield dugout

Vitamin C, ginseng and white tea are usually found in beverages, but Trident is stuffing each of them into a chewing gum to create their Vitality Gum line. The three varieties of the sugar-free gum include:

Awaken – a peppermint flavored gum with a bit of ginseng.
Rejuve – a combination of mint and white tea without the need for -nate.
Vigorate – a mix of citrus and strawberry with vitamin C and without an in-.

It’s unclear how much ginseng is in a piece of Awaken and the amount of white tea in a piece of Rejuve, but Vigorate is said to contain 10 percent of our daily recommended intake of vitamin C.

Oooh, 10 percent! Now I can stop sucking on limes to prevent scurvy.

The Trident Vitality line will be available early next year, come in nine-piece packs and retail for $1.29.

NEWS: New Axe Men’s Shampoos Either Soothe, Ignite or Refresh, Or If They Were Women’s Shampoos, Relax, Warm or Reinvigorate

Axe in wood

Axe, the company that made spray-on deodorant cool again, released three new shampoos to make men’s heads feel the same sensations that can also be felt with a particular Trojan brand condom.

The latest shampoos from Axe give users either a cooling, tingling or warming sensation, just like Trojan’s Fire & Ice condoms. Zen Soothing Tea Tree Shampoo is made with real tea tree extract, which tingles the scalp; Heat Igniting Citrus 2 in 1 Shampoo + Conditioner consists of spices and citrus that warms one’s head; and Downpour Refreshing Mint Shampoo has cooling peppermint leaf extract.

These additions give high school and college-aged boys more options when it comes to the vast line of Axe hair care products, which not only consists of shampoos and conditioners, but also hair styling products. The Axe shampoos are available in 12-ounce bottles.

NEWS: New NyQuil Flavor Gives Cold Sufferers Another Option Besides Blech and Double Blech

I personally don’t like taking NyQuil in LiquiCap form. It’s easier to take, but I don’t get the alcoholic warmth that slowly coats my digestive system when I take a shot of it in liquid form. It’s soothing and it feels like my mommy is rubbing my chest from the inside.

The only problem I’ve had with Liquid NyQuil was the fact that there were only two flavors: red and green. Yes, I don’t remember what the flavors actually are because they both taste horrible. But, I think, if I use their colors as a clue, they might be cherry and car air freshener. But now there’s a new flavor I can use to get nighttime relief from coughing, sore throats, headaches, minor aches and pains, fevers, runny noses and sneezing, and for helping me fall asleep whenever I run out of sleeping pills.

Vicks NyQuil Vanilla Cherry Swirl sounds like liquid candy, but it’s got the same levels of acetaminophen, dextromethorphan, doxylamine succinate and alcohol that are found in the original red and green flavors.

It’s available in 10-ounce bottles.

NEWS: Chocolate Covered Jelly Belly Jelly Beans Make It More Difficult To Figure Out Which Flavor You’re Eating

Sometimes I like to go to a candy store that allows me to make my own Jelly Belly Jelly Bean bag and make one that has every flavor they have available. Then when I go home, slip into something more comfortable, light some scented candles, play some Marvin Gaye, blindfold myself with a silk scarf so I don’t know what jelly bean I pick, then pull a jelly bean out of the bag, then stick it in my mouth, chew it, swallow it, allow it to digest for a few hours, poop it out and then watch it disappear from my toilet.

Jelly Belly’s new Jelly Bean Chocolate Dips allow me to get rid of the silk scarf because each jelly bean is hidden in a coating of dark chocolate. It could be raspberry, very cherry, orange, strawberry or coconut. But I hope it’s not coconut because I don’t like coconut.

Jelly Belly’s Jelly Bean Chocolate Dips will be available December 6th via the Jelly Belly website in a variety of sizes.
