Whataburger has two new breakfast biscuit sandwiches — the Spicy Strawberry Chicken Biscuit and Spicy Strawberry Sausage Biscuit.

They feature either a breaded chicken strip or sausage patty, a warm buttermilk biscuit, and Whataburger’s new Spicy Strawberry Jam. The jam is made by combining diced and pureed strawberries and a little bit of jalapeño.

But if customers want to up the jalapeño a notch, they can substitute the buttermilk biscuit with a Jalapeño Cheddar Biscuit.

The chicken version has 520 calories, 24 grams of fat, 9 grams of saturated fat, 25 milligrams of cholesterol, 1050 milligrams of sodium, 62 grams of carbohydrates, 2 grams of fiber, 20 grams of sugar, and 13 grams of protein.

The sausage one has 580 calories, 35 grams of fat, 15 grams of saturated fat, 30 milligrams of cholesterol, 1090 milligrams of sodium, 50 grams of carbohydrates, 1 gram of fiber, 20 grams of sugar, and 16 grams of protein.

Both are available from 11 p.m. to 11 a.m. for a limited time.

New Whataburger Chicken Sandwiches

Whataburger’s Whatachick’n and Grilled Chicken Sandwiches aren’t new, but they’ve both gotten some upgrades.

The updated Whatachick’n Sandwich comes with white meat chicken breast coated a lighter and crispier breading and topped with the new Savory WhataSauce. The creamy sauce offers a classic Southern flavor. The new Grilled Chicken Sandwich features a white meat chicken breast that’s seasoned with a new marinade and comes topped with the new tangy and peppery Zesty WhataSauce.

Both sandwiches also come with green leaf lettuce, tomato slices, and a new artisan wheat bun.

It’s s’mores season and Dunkin’ Donuts is celebrating with a new S’mores Donut. It has a toasted marshmallow flavored filling, chocolate glaze, and is covered with a s’mores topping that includes the summer treat’s staple, Hershey’s chocolate.

The S’mores Donut has 420 calories, 24 grams of fat, 11 grams of saturated fat, 0 grams of trans fat, 0 milligrams of cholesterol, 400 milligrams of sodium, 48 grams of carbohydrates, 1 gram of fiber, 25 grams of sugar, and 4 grams of protein.

It’s also strawberry season (and sunburn season) and Dunkin’ has a new donut that features the fruit. The Chocolate Drizzled Strawberry Croissant Donut has a strawberry filling in between donut’s flaky layers and is topped with a chocolate icing drizzle.

The new Croissant Donut variety has 360 calories, 17 grams of fat, 11 grams of saturated fat, 0 grams of trans fat, 25 milligrams of cholesterol, 280 milligrams of sodium, 48 grams of carbohydrates, 1 gram of fiber, 23 grams of sugar, and 5 grams of protein.

Both donuts are available through summer at participating Dunkin’ Donuts locations nationwide.

Tim Horton’s restaurants in the U.S. will be celebrating Canada’s 150th birthday with a trio of limited time Canadian-inspired products.

The Poutine Donut is a Honey Dip Donut topped with potato wedges, gravy, and cheese curds. If that’s not your cup of pou-tea, the chain is also offering Maple Timbits, which are maple-flavored donut holes. Finally, there’s the Maple Bacon Iced Capp. It’s an Iced Capp topped with whipped cream, maple flakes, and bacon bits.

If the Poutine Donut and/or the Maple Bacon Iced Capp has you salivating, you should know they’re only available on Saturday, July 1 (tomorrow). As for the Maple Timbits, they’ll be available throughout July, while supplies last.
