FAST FOOD NEWS: Little Caesars Thin Crust Pepperoni Bruschetta Pizza

Little Caesars Thin Crust Pepperoni Bruschetta Pizza

Little Caesars is testing a new pizza — the Thin Crust Pepperoni Bruschetta.

Reader @ReneBarba89 tweeted me this photo about two weeks ago that got lost among all my other photos because I didn’t properly tag it. But enough with my inefficiencies. The shot is of the commercial that’s being playing in the California market.

Along with the pepperoni, the pizza clearly appears to be topped with diced tomatoes and herbs. But if I focus on the photo below, I think I see garlic and/or onions. Or maybe because I’m craving garlic and onions right now, they’re just a mirage.

FAST FOOD NEWS: Chuck E. Cheese’s Candy Corn Pizza

Chuck E Cheese Candy Corn Pizza

Before you get grossed out or excited about Chuck E. Cheese’s Candy Corn Pizza, know that it does not come with the traditional Halloween disappointment on or in it. But it does come with two servings of candy corn, which you’re allowed to do whatever you want with them that I hope includes dumping them on top of the pizza.

The menu item is a white pizza with the chain’s traditional crust which is topped with garlic mozzarella in the center of the pizza and a ring of sharp cheddar around it. The positioning of the cheese makes each slice look like a piece of candy corn.

The two cheese pizza is available from October 16 to the end of the month.

If you’ve tried it (and topped it with the candy corn), let us know what you think of it in the comments.

FAST FOOD NEWS: Tim Hortons Buffalo Latte

Tim Hortons Buffalo Latte

Nope, you have not gone back or forward in time to April 1st. Tim Hortons is really selling a Buffalo sauce-flavored latte.

The beverage is made from freshly brewed espresso, steamed milk, mocha, and Buffalo sauce flavoring. It’s crowned with whipped topping and a dusting of Buffalo seasoning. I imagine the question on most of your minds is — Is it available iced? I have no idea.

Fortunately/unfortunately, it’s available only at TWO Tim Hortons restaurants in Buffalo — 849 Transit Road in Depew, NY and 3470 Main St in Buffalo, NY, while supplies last.

Here’s another question you might have, “Why would Tim Hortons combine the two?”

According to Stephen Goldstein, Regional President, Tim Hortons U.S., “Tim Hortons and Buffalo sauce were both born in 1964, so why not take these two Buffalo staples and combine them?” But the real reason why is to help promote the chain’s new espresso line-up that’s significantly less exciting, but more appetizing than the Buffalo Latte.

If you’re one of the lucky few who gets to try Tim Hortons’ Buffalo Latte, let us know what you think of it in the comments.

FAST FOOD NEWS: Arby’s Venison Sandwich Returns and a New Elk Sandwich is Announced

Arby s Venison Sandwich

About this time last year, Arby’s rolled out the Venison Sandwich. It was available only at few location across the U.S. and in limited amounts, but not Rick and Morty McDonald’s Szechuan Sauce amounts. Due to the popularity of the deer meat sandwich, Arby’s is bringing it back. But this time it’ll be available at every Arby’s restaurant in the U.S., starting on October 21 and while supplies last.

“While supplies last” is vague. But just to let you know, at many of the locations that offered it last year, the sandwich sold out within hours.

The Venison Sandwich features a thick-cut venison steak and crispy onions topped with a juniper berry sauce on a toasted specialty roll. The venison is marinated in garlic, salt and pepper and then sous-vide for three hours. The juniper berry sauce is a Cabernet steak sauce infused with juniper berries. We posted a review of it

But that’s not all Arby’s is announcing.

The chain that has the meats is testing a new one at a few of their locations. Arby’s Elk Sandwich will be available on October 21 in THREE restaurants in the popular elk hunting states of Colorado, Wyoming, and Montana. The very limited edition sandwich features a tender elk steak topped with a blackberry port steak sauce and crispy onions on a toasted roll.

It’ll be offered at the following Arby’s locations:

200 East 144th Ave., Thornton, Colorado 80023
2607 CY Ave., Casper, Wyoming 82604
2834 King Ave. W, Billings, Montana 59102
