NEWS: Jack in the Box Introduces New Fries and McDonald’s Says ‘Did You Hear Something? Because I Didn’t.’

Read our Jack in the Box fries review here.

I don’t really care for Jack in the Box’s Natural Cut Fries because they’re limp, not crispy and they make me feel sad for the potatoes that were used to make them.

I either replace them with curly fries or dip them in so much ketchup you’d think I’m Jack Bauer and I’m torturing the fries to find out where the nuclear bomb is. Thankfully, sometime this month, Jack in the Box will be serving new French Fries that are supposed to be crispier and tastier.

The new fries will be available in three sizes and approximately priced at $1.39 (small), $1.79 (medium) and $1.99 (large).

NEWS: Cinnabon Comes Up With Another Use For Their Ovens — Baking Cupcakes

It looks like Cinnabon’s ovens aren’t one trick ponies.

Recently, the company that usually occupies the best smelling area in your mall’s food court introduced a lineup of cupcakes with the most inventive name ever — Cinnabon Cupcakes. Their cupcake line consists of four varieties:

Cinnacake Classic – Vanilla cake infused with Cinnabon’s Makara Cinnamon, topped with their cream cheese frosting and garnished with a caramel, cinnamon swirl.

Chocolate Passion – Chocolate cake topped with chocolate buttercream frosting.

Vanilla Bliss – Vanilla cake topped with vanilla buttercream frosting.

24-Carrot Cake – Spiced carrot cake with a hint of pineapple and coconut, topped with their cream cheese frosting and orange sugar sprinkles.

Just like Cinnabon’s cinnamon rolls, these cupcakes are baked fresh all day. But I’m not sure if these cupcakes make your stomach feel like it ate an entire Cinnabon store, like their cinnamon rolls do

NEWS: Latest Slurpee Flavor Tries To Cool Gamers But It’s Kind of A N00b

The latest flavor of Slurpee, the God of War Kratos Fury Blackberry Lime, seems like it’s trying to give brain freeze to gamers. If you’re not familiar with the God of War video game franchise, you can learn about its background by watching the eventual shitty movie adaptation of it, which you could add to your Netflix queue, if all of your choices have a long wait and you don’t want to watch Beverly Hills Chihuahua.

For a Slurpee that’s meant for gamers, it’s disappointing to find out it has no caffeine in it. I don’t think a caffeine-free Slurpee promoting a video game, would appeal to gamers because without sweet, sweet caffeine they won’t be able to stay up until the same time most people wake up. Heck, I bet this God of War Slurpee doesn’t even appeal to a God of War because it lacks blood and violence.

NEWS: KFC’s Fiery Grilled Wings Give Lazy Potluck Party Invitees Something New To Bring

UPDATE: Click here to read our KFC Fiery Grilled Wings review.

I guess KFC’s Kentucky Grilled Chicken, introduced earlier this year, was successful enough to warrant a sequel — KFC’s Fiery Grilled Wings.

I just hope this latest version is better than any of the straight-to-DVD American Pie sequels. All I know is that it has 100 percent less breasts than any American Pie movie.

While the original version was a significantly healthier option than KFC’s regular chicken, the Fiery Grilled Wings are slightly better for you than their regular wings, since they’re not only grilled, but also marinated instead of coated in a sauce like their other wing flavors. These new spicy wings are also 50 percent larger than KFC’s other wings.

A KFC Fiery Grilled Wing contains 70 calories, 4 grams of fat, 1 gram of saturated fat, 0 grams trans fat, 30 milligrams of cholesterol, 200 milligrams of sodium, 0 grams of carbohydrates, 0 grams of fiber and 7 grams of protein.

They’re available in the following sizes: 5 pieces for $3.99, 20 for $13.99 and 30 for $21.99.

Arby’s, the fast food restaurant you probably haven’t been to in a while, recently released their new Fajita Flatbread Melts, which look more like something Taco Bell would unleash upon the world.
