FAST FOOD NEWS – White Castle Sriracha Chicken Slider

White Castle Sriracha Chicken Slider

I believe I know what some you are thinking, “A White Castle Sriracha Chicken Slider topped with sriracha sauce. That sounds awesome!” However, it’s not what some of you think. White Castle’s new Sriracha Chicken Slider and Ultimate Sriracha Chicken Slider doesn’t have sriracha sauce, instead the spicy sauce’s flavor and heat come from chicken’s breading.

Now all of you might be thinking, “Well, what’s that orangy sauce then?” That, my friends, is a zesty chipotle mayo. White Castle’s Ultimate Sriracha Chicken Slider also includes spicy jalapeño cheese and crunchy jalapeño crisps.

The Sriracha Chicken Slider has 400 calories, 30 grams of fat, 5 grams of saturated fat, 730 milligrams of sodium, and 9 grams of protein. The Ultimate Sriracha Chicken Slider has 460 calories, 36 grams of fat, 7 grams of saturated fat, 920 milligrams of sodium, and 11 grams of protein. Both are available for a limited time.

Whoa. Company collaboration with alliteration. Perhaps Pizza Hut Pretzelmaker Personal Pan Pretzel Pizzas are next? Say that question five times really fast.

These soft pretzel nuggets have cheddar innards, are served warm, and baked in house. There’s no info about them on the Arby’s website, but according to TIB reader James, they’re offered in five or 20 pieces. The five-piece offering is $1.99. They appear to be testing the item in the Midwest, but if you’ve seen them elsewhere, let us know in the comments. Here’s a promotional poster from the Central Wisconsin Arby’s Facebook page.
