Del Taco’s newest menu item is The Del Taco, which, let’s be honest, doesn’t look new. I mean, it looks like a regular taco. But The Del Taco has more seasoned beef and more freshly grated cheddar cheese than the previous taco from Del Taco. The new taco also comes with lettuce and chopped tomatoes in a bigger, crunchier corn shell.

The new taco is available for $1.39 and the chain also offers to substitute seasoned turkey, which has 33 percent less fat than their seasoned beef, at no additional charge.

The Del Taco (crunchy version) has 300 calories, 18 grams of fat, 9 grams of saturated fat, 0 grams of trans fat, 70 milligrams of cholesterol, 560 milligrams of sodium, 14 grams of carbohydrates, 2 grams of fiber, and 19 grams of protein.

Church’s Chicken is known for its hand-battered, fried chicken. But the chicken chain stepped out of its comfort zone to offer the new Naked Smokehouse Half Chicken.

It features a chicken half with white breast and tender dark meat that’s been marinated in smoky spices. Instead of batter or breading, a spice rub is applied to the chicken’s skin. A half-chicken portion with Church’s signature Honey-Butter Biscuit starts at $3.99. The menu item will be available through July 31 or while supplies last at participating locations.

July is National Hot Dog Month and, if you want to celebrate the food holiday, Sonic can help you with their line up of hot dogs, including their new Loaded Cheddar Dogs. Or could could just spend $1.50 at the Costco food court.

Sonic’s Loaded Cheddar Dogs feature a hot dog with cheddar cheese inside of it and are available in two varieties:

The Chili Double Cheesey Cheddar Dog is topped with chili and cheese on a potato bun. It has 500 calories, 28 grams of fat, 12 grams of saturated fat, 0 grams of trans fat, 60 milligrams of cholesterol, 1380 milligrams of sodium, 40 grams of carbohydrates, and 21 grams of protein.

The Bacon Triple Cheesy Cheddar Dog is topped with crisp bacon, cheese, and a cheddar cheese sauce on a potato bun. It has 620 calories, 38 grams of fat, 16 grams of saturated fat, 0.5 grams of trans fat, 70 milligrams of cholesterol, 1880 milligrams of sodium, 42 grams of carbohydrates, and 24 grams of protein.

Papa John’s newest pizza is doing a little cross promotion with the new Ghostbusters movie, although there’s nothing Ghostbuster-y about it. The XL Dual Layer Pepperoni Pizza features 10 slices of the chain’s hand-tossed dough covered in pizza sauce, cheese, Italian herb seasonings, a layer of premium pepperoni, and a layer of deli-style pepperoni.

Sorry, no Slimer green cheese or pepperoni shaped like the Ghostbusters’ logo. But it’ll be delivered in a Ghostbusters-themed pizza box.

The pizza is available for $12 at participating locations until July 24 or while supplies last.

A slice from the extra large pizza has 380 calories, 17 grams of fat, 7 grams of saturated fat, 0 grams of trans fat, 40 milligrams of cholesterol, 980 milligrams of sodium, 40 grams of carbohydrates, 2 grams of fiber, 5 grams of sugar, and 14 grams of protein.
