Arby’s has added a new limited time only addition to their Sliders lineup — the Pizza Slider.

The mini sandwich features genoa salami, pepperoni, provolone cheese, and roasted garlic marinara on a mini bun.

The Pizza Slider had 300 calories, 17 grams of fat, 6 grams of saturated fat, 0 grams of trans fat, 35 milligrams of cholesterol, 930 milligrams of sodium, 23 grams of carbohydrates, 1 gram of fiber, 2 grams of sugar, and 13 grams of protein.

But if the Pizza Slider is a bit too small for you, Arby’s is also now offering sandwiches that are on the opposite extreme.

The chain’s new Half Pound Roast Beef Sandwiches are some of their classic sandwiches, but with a half-pound of meat.

There’s the Half Pound Roast Beef Sandwich with eight ounces of roast beef in between a sesame seed bun with Horsey Sauce and Arby’s Sauce; the Half Pound French Dip & Swiss features the meat plus Swiss cheese on a sub roll with a side of au jus for dipping; and finally there’s the Half Pound Beef ‘n Cheddar that has cheddar cheese sauce and red ranch sauce on an onion bun with the roast beef.

With the Roast Beef and Beef ‘N Cheddar Sandwiches, Arby’s also offers them in Classic and Double sizes. To give you an idea of how much of a difference there is between them and the half-pound version. I asked Siri to convert the original Roast Beef Sandwich’s serving weights from grams to ounces.

A classic Roast Beef Sandwich is 5.43 ounces, a double is 8.43 ounces, and the half-pound version is 10.41 ounces.

Thanks, Siri!

The Half Pound Beef ‘N Cheddar has 740 calories, 39 grams of fat, 14 grams of saturated fat, 2 grams of trans fat, 130 milligrams of cholesterol, 2530 milligrams of sodium, 48 grams of carbohydrates, 2 grams of fiber, 9 grams of sugar, and 49 grams of protein.

FAST FOOD NEWS: Papa John’s Bacon Cheddarburger Pizza

Papa John s Bacon Cheddarburger Pizza

Papa John’s has a new burger-pizza hybrid — the Bacon Cheddarburger Pizza. It follows the Double Cheeseburger Pizza, Bacon Cheeseburger Pizza, and Mushroom Swiss Burger Pizza.

The new pizza features beef, hickory-smoked bacon, dill pickle slices, fresh-cut Roma tomatoes, real cheese made from mozzarella, Wisconsin cheddar, and the chain’s zesty burger sauce. So it’s pretty much Papa John’s Bacon Cheeseburger Pizza with cheddar.

A large or Pan Bacon Cheddarburger Pizza is available for only $10 at participating locations until June 25.

FAST FOOD NEWS: Starbucks Coffee Ice Cubes

Starbucks Coffee Ice Cubes

The problem with Starbucks iced coffee is the ice. It melts, which turns the coffee into a watered down swill that you have to force chug down your throat because you need the caffeine and throwing it away would be a waste of your hard earned money.

But in the future that might not be an issue because about 100 Starbucks locations in St. Louis, Missouri and Baltimore, Maryland are testing ice cubes made with coffee. The photo above was sent in my Impulsive Buy reader Caitlin J at a Starbucks in Bel Air, Maryland.

At the participating locations, the coffee ice cubes can be added to any iced espresso or brewed coffee beverage for an extra 80 cents.

Update: Here’s a photo of what they actually look like. It was sent in by reader Juba who works at a location in Baltimore.

FAST FOOD NEWS: Taco Bell Mtn Dew Spiked Lemonade Freeze

Taco Bell Mtn Dew Spiked Lemonade Freeze

I could just write about how this is a slushy version of Mtn Dew’s new Spiked Lemonade. Or I could copy and paste the description on Taco Bell’s website that reads more like a short story.

Lemonade. The very thought of this brightly colored, thirst quenching beverage brings visions of cheerful sunny days and cloudless blue skies which seem to go on forever. And what’s that you see just down the street at the corner? Why it’s that nice little neighborhood girl. And look, she has set up a lemonade stand. How cute she is with her little sign and ice cold pitcher. But wait… take a closer look. She’s not quite selling what you think she’s selling. Go ahead, buy a cup and take a sip. Yep, she’s gone and spiked the lemonade. No… not with booze, but with the juice of that rare, tasty and semi-exotic fruit the Prickly Pear. It seems this little girl has quite the eye for innovation and a bit of a rebel streak too. So you ask her where she got her inspiration. With a beaming smile, this little entrepreneur points her finger westward and simply says… “Taco Bell”. For it seems her dad took her there just yesterday, after a trip to the beach, to try out the all new Mountain Dew Spiked Lemonade Freeze. She’s been thinking about it ever since… and thanks to her… so will you. Cheers.

A 16-ounce Freeze has 190 calories, 0 grams of fat, 0 milligrams of cholesterol, 75 milligrams of sodium, 50 grams of carbohydrates, 0 grams of fiber, 50 grams of sugar, and 0 grams of protein.

FAST FOOD NEWS: Chick-fil-A Smokehouse BBQ Bacon Sandwich and Watermelon Mint Lemonade

Chick fil A Smokehouse BBQ Bacon Sandwich

Update: We reviewed the sandwich! Click here to read our review.

Chick-fil-A has added two new seasonal items to their menu — the Smokehouse BBQ Bacon Sandwich and Watermelon Mint Lemonade.

The sandwich features grilled chicken, bacon coated in a brown sugar pepper blend, Colby-Jack cheese, green leaf lettuce, and a zesty Smokehouse BBQ Sauce on a new Hawaiian-style bun.

Chick fil A Watermelon Mint Lemonade

According to Chick-fil-A, the Watermelon Mint Lemonade was made specifically to complement the flavors of the new Smokehouse BBQ Bacon Sandwich. It’s made up of the chain’s fresh-squeezed Lemonade (or Diet Lemonade) with watermelon and mint flavors. I wonder if we’ll see a Frosted Watermelon Mint Lemonade next summer.

Both menu items are available until August 19.

If you’ve tried either one, let us know what you think of it in the comments.
