Popeyes has created another variety of chicken tenders with a sweet coating. The new Sweet & Crunchy Tenders follows in the footsteps of the Chicken Waffle Tenders and Southern Fair Tenders.

The new chicken menu item features a shortbread cookie coating on all white meat chicken and comes with a Smokin’ Pepper Jam Sauce for dipping. You can get three of them with a Signature Side, and buttermilk biscuit for $5.

The Sweet & Crunchy Tenders are available until June 25 at participating Popeyes locations.

Dairy Queen A 1 Bacon Cheeseburger

I don’t think I have enough fingers on my hands to count the number of fast food chains that have used A.1. Steak Sauce on a burger. The latest chain to do so is Dairy Queen.

The A.1. Bacon Cheeseburger features a 100 percent all-beef patty topped with caramelized onions, Swiss cheese, Applewood smoked bacon, and a signature creamy A.1. sauce on a toasted bun. It’s available as a meal with fries, a 21-ounce drink, and a small sundae for $5. You can also upgrade the sundae to a small Blizzard for a dollar more.

The A.1. Bacon Cheeseburger is available for a limited time at participating DQ locations.

Jack in the Box is the latest chain to get its own exclusive Coca-Cola Freestyle beverage.

Jumpin’ Jack Splash uses Minute Maid Lemonade as the base and includes cherry, lime, and raspberry flavoring. The beverage is also non-carbonated and is available in regular or diet.

It’s being offered at more than 2,200 locations with Coca-Cola Freestyle machines.

A 16-ounce regular serving has 226 calories, 0 grams of fat, 0 milligrams of cholesterol, 42 milligrams of sodium, 61 grams of carbohydrates, 58 grams of sugar, and 0 grams of protein.

Long John Silvers Homestyle Buttermilk Cod

Long John Silver’s has a new menu item available throughout the summer. The seafood chain’s Homestyle Buttermilk Cod is made with 100 percent wild caught Alaskan cod that’s cooked to a golden brown. It’s served with natural-cut fries and Long John Silver’s hushpuppies for $5.99.

The menu item is available through August 27 at participating locations.

A serving has 240 calories, 100 calories from fat, 11 grams of fat, 1 gram of saturated fat, 0 grams of trans fat, 60 milligrams of cholesterol, 890 milligrams of sodium, 17 grams of carbohydrates, 0 grams of fiber, 19 grams of protein.

If there’s one thing Jack in the Box is known for it’s giving you choices. You can get a burger, chicken sandwich, tacos, Brunchfast, or breakfast any time of day.

Jack in the Box’s newest addition to the burger side of its menu is the BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger and it forces you to make another choice — sweet honey bourbon BBQ sauce or spicy red chili BBQ sauce. Along with the BBQ sauce, the burger features a beef patty topped with bacon, onion rings, two slices of cheese, lettuce, and tomato on a bun.

BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger with sweet BBQ sauce has 718 calories, 42 grams of fat, 15 grams of saturated fat, 2 grams of trans fat, 89 milligrams of cholesterol, 1430 milligrams of sodium, 51 grams of carbohydrates, 2 grams of fiber, 13 grams of sugar, and 34 grams of protein.
