SPOTTED: Drumstick WWE Variety Pack

Drumstick WWE Variety Pack.

If we’re talking WWE here, I think the cone in the Drumstick logo should be a Band-Aid on this box. (Spotted by Robbie at Walmart.)

If you’re out shopping and see new products, snap a picture of them, and send them in via an email ([email protected]) with where you found them and “Spotted” in the subject line. Also, if you want to send in photos and are wondering if we’ve already covered something or if they’re new, don’t worry about it. Let us worry about it.

Honestly I don’t understand how that is supposed to help sell the product. No new or limited flavors just smack a WWE logo on the box and call it a day? I don’t get it lol

    1. Think of how many people will buy it just for the box. Personally, I wouldn’t buy a food product to keep the box, but people must or they wouldn’t have collabs.

Or they’re banking on consumers buying it thinking there will be new flavors.

  2. It’s now “America’s Champion.”
    Do you hate America?!
And Powerhouse Vanilla is running wild on all challengers!
    (kidding, I agree, it’s a “huh?”)

  3. WWE has always been big on branded content, but they’ve gone full-bore over the past couple of years – logos on and around the ring, product placement spots, brand sponsorships for individual matches on their PPV events, etc. My guess is that this is a quid pro quo arrangement; Drumstick gets to be the Official Frozen Treat of WWE or whatever, Drumstick does custom packaging to push the WWE logo into more places (your grocer’s freezer) to make the brand seem ubiquitous. (And they need good publicity at the moment, because of some really nasty behind-the-scenes stuff.)

  4. Even if I was going to buy some I wouldn’t buy the WWE branded ones for all reasons mentioned in previous comments and for so many others…

    1. Right there with you. I spotted these at the grocery store today. Having WWE on the box would make me less likely to buy it, not more.
