If you’re out shopping and see new products, snap a picture of them, and send them in via an email ([email protected]) with where you found them and “Spotted” in the subject line. Also, if you want to send in photos and are wondering if we’ve already covered something or if they’re new, don’t worry about it. Let us worry about it.

Perceived Value vs Actual Value
If you’re like me, the Impulsive Buy suggestions carry much more weight when the shelf price label is included in the photos.
Photographers and spotters take note: By merely angling the camera down just a bit to include the current price label displayed on the shelf (when possible) provides us with much more context regarding our opinion on whether it’s worth venturing to the store for.
Prices can vary by location and store, though. It might help give a general idea, but the same product at Whole Foods versus somewhere like Giant could have a large price difference.
if you’re a supreme dork like me, you immediately recognize shelf tags for most national chains lmao
it’s the regional ones that trip me up
The prices were actually shown in all but one of the pictures I took, but TheImpulsiveBuy cropped the pictures, cutting off some of the prices in the process, lol.
Here are the missing prices: Tattooed Chef bowls (all $5.99), basmati rice ($4.99), and cilantro lime rice ($5.99).
Thank you for your service!

I too like it when the price tags are displayed, even if prices do vary by store and/o geographically.
