lol chef inspired…
If these are anything like the Bird’s Eye meals, I’m quite excited! They’re very good but can be a little pricey for what you get, so a cheaper GV-brand alternative would be welcome.
So they found a new way to market frozen food for a ridiculously expensive price…
…frozen spaghetti? Really?
What’s wrong with frozen spaghetti? It’s fresh pasta that’s been frozen, not the dry stuff.
I just got done eating the Southwestern Style chicken and it was pretty darn good. Chicken was a little hard, in spots, but overall very tasty and filling.
My husband and I are pulled pork fans and are pretty picky about it. We have had some wonderful hardwood smoked pulled pork around the south and have yet to find anything we liked, until now. The hardwood smoked pulled pork was impressive. Not only in the taste (I would give an 8 out of 10) but the amount you get. Once it was thawed out, it filled up a large bowl. I was not expecting that much. Now we are going to have several meals from it. Its worth money for the amount you get as well as the taste.
Do no buy the Grest Value Chef Inspired Beef Pot Roast . . . so salty! Sodium 1240 MG 54% Daily Value. Carrots were good. Beef and potatoes tasted like they were covered in salt. Oh well . . . gave it a try.
I tried the steamer meals. Several different flavors. The amount of food you get for under $6 is impressive. It makes 3 lunch meals for me at work. I haven’t gotten a flavor I didn’t like yet. And the ingredients are decently healthy. Cant complain with quinoa… with the southwestern flavored meals, I also picked up a tub of GV guacamole to go with it. They have all been tasty.
